We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Calypso Business Analyst with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and deep expertise in Calypso’s Accounting and CRE (Credit, Risk, Exposure) modules. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading complex projects, providing strategic insights, and ensuring optimal system configuration and process improvements within our financial technology environment. Key Responsibilities
Act as an SME for Calypso’s Accounting and CRE modules, leveraging extensive knowledge of system functionalities and best practices. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Lead configuration, testing, and implementation efforts for Calypso modules related to Accounting and CRE. Conduct gap analysis, identify process improvements, and recommend industry-standard practices. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the Accounting Framework, including Accounts, Accounting Events, Rules, Bookkeeping, and Scheduling Tasks. Configure various accounts such as Cash Accounts, Bonds, FX, Futures, and Swaptions. Develop familiarity with Accounting Events for Bonds, FX, Futures, and Swaptions, as well as Accounting Rules applicable to these instruments. Support posting generation processes, position valuation, and related reporting activities. Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Lifecycle Events within Calypso. Collaborate with stakeholders across different levels, including senior management, aligning system capabilities with business objectives. Support UAT, provide training to end-users, and prepare detailed documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the modules. Stay current on new Calypso features, industry trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to accounting and risk management. Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise on module functionalities and standards. Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial technology, with significant experience in Calypso platform. Deep expertise in Calypso’s Accounting and CRE modules. Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial instruments, credit risk, and treasury operations. Proven experience in system configuration, integration, and process optimization. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications
Advanced certifications in Calypso or related financial systems. CFA and MBA degrees are highly desirable. Prior experience in banking, capital markets, asset management, or financial services. Knowledge of Calypso’s overall architecture and integration points. We offer
