Corporate Communications & Sustainability Specialist
is a key individual contributor supporting Arcwood’s Corporate Communications & Sustainability function. This role helps shape and execute enterprise communications that advance the Company’s narrative, values, sustainability commitments, and leadership voice across internal and external channels. The ideal candidate is energized by joining a function with increasing enterprise visibility and influence. Working cross-functionally and in close partnership with internal stakeholders and agency partners, this role connects strategy to storytelling— elevating enterprise priorities through clear, consistent, and credible communications. Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices at all times Supports the development and execution of internal and external corporate communications, including content creation, positioning and leadership visibility Assists with the rollout and ongoing activation of the Company’s enterprise narrative, values, and employee value proposition (EVP) across internal and external channels Supports executive and leadership communications, including thought leadership opportunities, speaking engagements, and conference participation Leverages a strong internal network to actively “story-mine” across the organization, identifying and elevating relevant stories, achievements and perspectives Connects dots across teams, functions, and initiatives to translate complex work into clear, compelling enterprise-level narratives Develops and coordinates content that supports enterprise priorities, culture, sustainability initiatives, and brand positioning Serves as a core member of the team executing the Company’s new corporate website, including content development and coordination with internal and external partners Supports the development of the Company’s sustainability report in partnership with internal stakeholders and agency partners Assists with internal and external rollout and amplification of sustainability and ESG-related content, ensuring clarity, credibility and alignment with Company commitments Demonstrates a strong interest in and commitment to advancing the Company’s sustainability goals through effective, responsible communication In partnership with agency partners, serves as an “eyes and ears” for the organization by monitoring external sector trends, competitor activity, and relevant developments Applies strong judgment to help assess implications for the Company and supports recommended actions, messaging or initiatives as needed Works closely with Marketing and other internal teams to ensure alignment, avoid duplication of efforts, and maximize shared resources Builds trusted, collaborative relationships across the organization to enable coordinated, enterprise-wide communications Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Education
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English or related field (required) Experience
3+ years of experience in corporate communications, enterprise communications, sustainability/ESG communications or related area (required) Demonstrated experience and ability to work cross-functionally, build consensus, and develop strong relationships across a complex organization (required) Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity
