The Associate Manager, Integrated Marketing - Shopper & Retail is a key contributor on youtheory’s Integrated Marketing team, supporting the development and execution of shopper marketing programs that drive brand visibility, trial, and sell-through across our priority retail and e-commerce partners, including Amazon, Costco, Sam’s Club, Sprouts Farmers Market, CVS, and Target. Reporting into the Sr. Integrated Marketing Manager, this role helps translate brand strategy into compelling, conversion-driven shopper experiences across in-store and digital retail environments. This position blends strong executional rigor with exceptional copywriting, ensuring that how youtheory shows up at the point of purchase is clear, persuasive, and on brand. This role is ideal for a shopper marketer with 3–5 years of experience in supplements or CPG who is a strong writer, highly organized, and ready to make an immediate impact within a growing wellness brand! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Shopper Marketing Strategy & Execution

Support the development and execution of shopper marketing strategies that align with integrated brand priorities, retailer objectives, and commercial goals Execute in-store and omnichannel shopper marketing programs across key retail partners and e-commerce platforms Assist in testing, refining, and optimizing shopper initiatives to improve trial, conversion, and repeat purchase Retail Copywriting & Messaging (Core Responsibility)

Write and refine high-impact shopper-facing copy across in-store signage, displays, shelf messaging, endcaps, retailer digital placements, and e-commerce content Translate brand positioning, product benefits, and claims into clear, compelling retail copy that resonates with shoppers at the moment of decision Ensure all shopper-facing copy is on brand, consumer-relevant, retailer-appropriate, and compliant Review and quality-check copy across all retail touchpoints, maintaining a high editorial bar Continuously optimize messaging based on performance data, shopper insights, and retailer feedback Cross-Functional Collaboration (as part of Integrated Marketing)

Work closely with Sales to align shopper programs and messaging to retailer calendars, promotions, and Business Planning priorities Collaborate with Creative, Digital, Social, Innovation, E-commerce, and external agency partners to ensure cohesive execution across the path to purchase Serve as a key day-to-day Integrated Marketing contact for shopper-related execution Retail Assets & In-Store Execution

Support the development and execution of retail point-of-sale materials, displays, signage, and retailer digital assets Ensure messaging and assets are tailored by retailer, channel, and shopper mindset Evaluate asset and messaging effectiveness and recommend improvements to drive retail performance Performance Measurement & Insights

Support the collection and analysis of shopper program performance, sales impact, and KPIs Assist in post-program recaps, identifying messaging and executional learnings Leverage syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen, IRI) and retailer insights to inform recommendations KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Quality, clarity, and effectiveness of shopper-facing copy On-time, on-brand execution of shopper marketing initiatives Strength of insights and optimization recommendations Cross-functional alignment and executional excellence QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (required) 3–5 years of shopper marketing or retail marketing experience within CPG Proven experience writing shopper-facing, retail, or e-commerce copy is required Supplement, health & wellness, or food & beverage experience strongly preferred Experience supporting both brick-and-mortar retail and digital retail environments Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex product benefits into persuasive retail messaging Strong understanding of shopper behavior and path-to-purchase dynamics across mass, club, grocery, and natural channels Proficiency in syndicated data sources (SPINS, Nielsen, IRI) with the ability to extract actionable insights.
