Overview As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and executing various marketing activities within a company or organization. Activities include creating and/or coordinating the production of advertising and promotional materials, identifying an appropriate mix of advertising and promotional media channels that align with defined customer market segmentation and buyer personas (e.g., social media, website, publications, etc.), coordinating basic activities of the company\'s trade shows, promotions and events, planning advertising campaigns, and assisting in creating and/or coordinating brand promotional merchandise. The marketing specialist must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously. Reporting directly to the VP, Sales, & Marketing, this position is based in Fort Wayne, IN.

Major Accountability

Develop and maintain sales spec sheets.

Support and maintain internal tools such as our digital asset management site, AutoQuotes, Specifi, and other customer-specific sites.

Assist with the planning and execution of marketing events, tradeshows, and sales training.

Assist with managing social media channels, including reputation monitoring, creating content, and overseeing messaging and interactions on social media.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Maintain inventory of sales support materials and assist in the creation of new materials as needed.

Drive and coordinate digital and traditional marketing campaigns with measurable results.

Report marketing metrics and provide recommendations on ongoing optimizations.

Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and catalogs.

Support marketing management in organizing various projects and performing ad hoc projects as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.

Stays up to date with industry trends, best practices, and design technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Ensure all marketing projects are moving through the various stages efficiently and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business, or a related field

1-3 years of experience or 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree

Experience in Marketing or Agency

Skills & Abilities

Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred - knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.

Computer proficiency with MS Office.

Familiarity with social media and the different platforms.

Ability to write and edit compelling narratives across multiple digital channels both internally and externally

High level of energy and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines.

Highly creative and open to share new ideas and modify work based on team feedback.

Self-starter with a team-oriented approach. Proactive and able to easily interact with others.

Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects. Demonstrated capacity to take on greater responsibilities as needed.

Working Conditions

Typically requires extended periods of sitting at a desk in a typical office environment.
