About Us New Leaf Family is a growing family law firm committed to providing compassionate, client-centered legal services. As our team and technology needs expand, we are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to help maintain, enhance, and secure our firm’s technology infrastructure. This role is essential in ensuring that our staff have the tools they need to provide exceptional service to the families we support.

Position Overview The IT Support Specialist will provide both remote and on-site technical support for New Leaf Family (both Windows and Mac). This position is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues; managing new employee onboarding; employee offboarding and recapture of equipment; purchasing and maintaining laptops and network equipment; administering key systems; multi-function printer maintenance; handling trouble tickets to completion; supporting cybersecurity initiatives; and contributing to ongoing improvements in our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and at least four (4) years of relevant work experience.

Professional IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.) are highly preferred.

Technical Experience

Strong experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Windows, MacOS, and iPhone/Android environments.

Hands‑on experience with Office Telecom, direct and remote user support, and troubleshooting of computer and communication equipment.

Experience working with cloud computing environments.

Certifications in relevant technologies or platforms are a distinct advantage.

Technical Skills

Diagnose, identify, and resolve end‑user issues involving operating systems, computer hardware, and firm‑wide applications.

Configure and administer networking equipment such as VPNs, switches, routers, and firewalls.

Manage and administer corporate antivirus and backup systems.

Create users, manage extensions, and maintain the telephone VOIP system.

Manage and support videoconferencing systems.

Troubleshoot MacOS and Windows (and iPhone/Android) applications and environments.

Experience with MS365 and SharePoint Online administration.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and administer LAN, VPN, and wireless network systems.

Assist with planning, developing, and upgrading IT networks, telecom systems, and infrastructure.

Produce and maintain comprehensive IT documentation and reference materials.

Respond promptly to user support requests, managing resources and providing solutions in a timely manner.

Support implementation of IT standards, security protocols, software licensing compliance, telecom systems, and procurement processes.

Deliver IT training sessions for staff and end users to enhance productivity and system awareness.

Educate employees on cybersecurity topics (e.g., phishing, malware, password hygiene).

Uphold firm policies and contribute to a respectful and supportive work environment.

Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of critical systems to ensure continuous uptime.

Administer and configure the firm’s SharePoint Online environment and manage user permissions.

Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality IT services and supply availability.Maintain an accurate and up-to-date hardware and software inventory, advising leadership on replacement and renewal needs.

Conduct quarterly Software License Audits.

Travel to firm offices in Colorado as required.

After hours and weekend availability for IT Emergencies.
