Position A Private Wealth Advisor team in New York City within our Private Wealth Management business unit is seeking a motivated individual to join its growing team as an Investment Strategist. The Investment Strategist will work with our Private Wealth Advisor team members and will interact directly with high‑net‑worth clients. The ideal candidate will be an integral component of the practice and be thorough in their work, operate with a high attention to detail, have strong communication, organization, time‑management and problem‑solving skills, and be driven to develop and grow in their role.

Responsibilities

Participate in Investment Committee meetings; provide information to make investment decisions

Present new ideas and adjustments to existing investments; articulate the reasons

Identify new investment opportunities, track market trends, analyze risk; provide write‑ups and reports as necessary

Maintain reporting/performance systems

Complete investment subscription documents

Trade and implement client investment strategies

Qualifications

5+ years of client service and investment experience within the financial industry

Registered with Series 7 & 66 (or 7, 65 & 63)

BA/BS degree

Skills

Client‑facing, interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills

Ability to adapt to constantly changing market conditions, reporting needs and requirements

Detail‑oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workflow

High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity work environment as well as manage multiple tasks effectively

Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel & PowerPoint, as well as Bloomberg, Envestnet & various performance reporting systems such as Tamarac and Black Diamond

Compensation Range The anticipated base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for other variable compensation programs.
