We are entering a high-growth phase and are seeking a driven Business Development leader to accelerate new account acquisition, expand our market footprint, and strengthen customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Drive new account growth by identifying, targeting, and securing business with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and defense contractors.
Develop and execute pursuit strategies to expand customer base and revenue pipeline.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers; program managers, procurement leads, engineering executives, and others to position NSS as a trusted partner.
Lead proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure with a focus on win-rate.
Conduct competitive and market analyses to uncover emerging opportunities.
Represent NSS at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events; manage pre- and post-event follow-ups to convert leads into customer engagements.
Travel regularly to engage with prospective and existing customers, and attend key events.
Collaborate closely with engineering and executive leadership to align business development efforts with technical capabilities and corporate strategy.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in aerospace & defense business development.
Proven track record of new business acquisition and revenue growth.
Strong networking capabilities within U.S. and international aerospace communities.
Ability to quickly learn company technical portfolio and effectively position capabilities.
Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
Proactive, resilient, and focused on growing relationships.
Strategic thinker who can convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Strong personal credibility with both engineering and executive audiences.
