Overview

An internationally respected studio is expanding its Los Angeles team. Known for shaping distinctive hospitality destinations and elevated residential environments, the studio creates spaces that balance warmth and simplicity – layered, intentional, and timeless, with a strong focus on custom furnishings, materiality, and visual storytelling. The practice works across boutique and large-scale hospitality, private residences, and lifestyle-driven environments, approaching each project through a carefully crafted, narrative-led design process. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to work with real creative depth while continuing to strengthen both technical and conceptual skills within a highly collaborative studio. The ideal candidate thrives in the middle of the design process, translating ideas into built interiors through thoughtful material selections, furniture, lighting, and imagery, while working closely with senior designers and project leads. Key Responsibilities

Support the design development of luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects across multiple phases Assist in developing concept presentations, mood boards, and material palettes that reflect the project narrative Play a key role in FF&E research, selection, specification, and documentation Produce high-quality renderings, visualizations, and presentation materials to communicate design intent Assist with space planning, interior layouts, and furniture plans Coordinate with senior designers, architects, consultants, and vendors to support cohesive project delivery Contribute to drawing sets, schedules, and design documentation under senior team guidance Maintain organization of design materials, samples, and digital assets in line with studio standards Key Skills / Experience

3–5 years of professional interior design experience within hospitality and/or high-end residential projects Strong FF&E experience, including furniture, lighting, finishes, and decorative selections Advanced rendering and visualization skills with a refined design sensibility Proficiency in AutoCAD; strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp Experience with rendering software required Familiarity with Revit and Rhino is a plus Strong eye for materiality, color, proportion, and composition Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, design-driven studio environment Clear communication skills and eagerness to learn and grow within a high-performing team How to apply
