Overview
We’re looking for a mid-level Digital Product Designer to help design immersive, high-quality mobile experiences across iOS, Android, and web. You’ll work closely with the brand creative director and engineers to translate user needs and business goals into elegant, usable app experiences. This role is ideal for a designer who is confident owning features end-to-end, comfortable working within design systems, and excited to iterate and improve real products used by real people.
Responsibilities
Translate product requirements, data & insights, and technical constraints into thoughtful design solutions
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
Apply and contribute to existing our existing design system while respecting platform-specific guidelines (iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design)
Collaborate closely with internal teams and engineers throughout the product lifecycle
Iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and usability findings
Ensure designs are accessible, scalable, and aligned with Hodinkee brand standards
Core Accountabilities
Design user-centered experiences for native iOS and Android applications, as well as responsive web browsers
Translate product requirements, data & insights, and technical constraints into thoughtful design solutions
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
Apply and contribute to existing our existing design system while respecting platform-specific guidelines (iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design)

Essential Experience And Attributes
3–5 years of experience in digital product design, UX/UI design, or a related role
Strong experience designing native mobile apps (iOS and/or Android)
Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design
Expert-level understanding of Figma’s tooling and design capabilities
Experience working with design systems and component-based design
Passion for and knowledge of typography (design details, hierarchy, & practical use)
Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and rationale
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in cross-functional teams
This is a hybrid position
Salary $120,000–$140,000 based on experience
