Overview

JOB PURPOSE:

Support the Human Resources Core Process by executing day-to-day human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, employee record management, and engagement initiatives, to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant processes that enhance the overall employee experience and advance organizational goals. Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. Assist with the administration of the company’s 401(k) plan by processing employee enrollments and changes, coordinating with the plan provider, and supporting compliance activities as directed. Support full-cycle recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communications. Support new hire onboarding by ensuring the workstation is set up, accounts are created across all necessary company systems, the employee is entered into the HRIS, and all required documentation is collected and filed. Assist with maintaining, updating, and enforcing the employee handbook, HR policies, procedures, and other employee-facing documentation. Coordinate employee engagement efforts, including event planning, employee appreciation activities, and drafting content for internal communications such as newsletters, birthday and work anniversary announcements, and other employee news. Provide day-to-day support for HR operations, responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues related to HR systems, benefits, and processes. Assist in the execution of HR programs and projects related to employee engagement, training, benefits, and performance management, under the direction of the HR Director. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company policies, including personnel files and confidential documentation. Participate in the department's L10 meetings, identify and bring issues, and develop and execute quarterly rocks to drive alignment and improvements toward Cipher VTO. Other duties and projects reasonably related to the department and position, as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Resources-related field, or 1-3 years’ experience in an HR position, or similar combination of education and experience preferred. Ability to navigate sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build rapport, develop relationships, and establish credibility and trust. Eagerness to grow within the HR field and take on new responsibilities as the company expands.
