
Overview
This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operations of HR, with a strong focus on
recruiting, onboarding , and
payroll processing . There is also long-term growth potential for someone interested in developing deeper employee relations experience and growing into a leadership role over time.
Responsibilities
Support recruiting efforts including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication
Coordinate and facilitate
new hire onboarding and orientation
Enter and maintain employee data in
ADP Workforce Now
Assist with
payroll processing
and HRIS administration
Ensure completion and processing of new hire paperwork
Maintain employee records and personnel files in compliance with legal requirements
Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
Assist employees with benefits and claims-related questions
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
Support employee relations initiatives and programs
Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics for management
Assist with compliance related to local, state, and federal employment regulations
Provide general HR administrative support and additional duties as needed
Ideal Background
Bachelor’s degree in
Human Resources or related business field
~5 years of experience in a
generalist or HR specialist
role
Experience with
ADP Workforce Now
strongly preferred
Exposure to recruiting, onboarding, and payroll processes
Strong organizational and time management skills
Friendly, personable, and collaborative — this team works closely together
Comfortable in a small office environment where everyone pitches in
