We are looking for a talented Production Associate

Level IV to join our team specializing in manufacturing at our facility in Mineral Point, WI, US. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: You'll lead safe work every day by stopping work when hazards arise, modeling HSE standards, and building an interdependent culture where people actively look out for one another. You'll ensure high-quality output by rigorously following standard work, using SPC and poka-yoke methods, performing inspections, and controlling non-conforming material before it impacts customers. You'll drive reliable production by independently operating equipment at required cycle times and consistently achieving production and delivery goals. You'll act as a trusted formal leader by coordinating work, guiding less experienced team members, and keeping the team aligned during shifts and transitions. You'll adapt quickly to change by responding effectively to shifting priorities, process updates, and unexpected conditions in the manufacturing environment. You'll manage risk and ambiguity by making sound decisions, addressing problems without clear solutions, and minimizing safety, quality, and delivery impacts. You'll strengthen equipment performance through strong housekeeping, planned operator care, and close collaboration with skilled trades and support teams. You'll continuously improve the operation by actively leading efforts to enhance safety, quality, processes, material flow, and employee development. Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a production line working cross functionally to ensure safety, quality, and production metrics are met daily. Familiarity with Oracle and Excel is helpful. Candidates will have demonstrated good personal ability to function in a manufacturing setting. Organization: Cummins Inc.
