As a Ship/Rec Specialist - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of shipping and receiving operations. You will report directly to our Logistics Supervisor and you'll work out of our Palmetto, FL location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of our supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods, which is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. Key responsibilities include: Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with company standards. Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed. Qualifications
You must have: Experience in shipping and receiving operations or related roles. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately. Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics processes. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. We value: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
