This position is responsible for overseeing and leading property & brand marketing strategies for Wasserman Global Accounts. This position is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.

What You'll Do

Oversees and facilitates all sponsorship strategy, brand marketing strategy, and marketing projections with client partnerships in the sports and entertainment ecosystem for Wasserman’s global accounts.

Strategic thinker who has the ability to research and analyze data from multiple sources to develop client-focused narratives and recommendations (e.g., market landscapes, audience intelligence, net-new partnership opportunities).

Uses forward-thinking initiative to identify the next strategic opportunities; creative storyteller that can properly position net-new strategic partnerships to solve specific business challenges.

Understands the Latam landscape for each client’s business/sector as well as the industry contexts for their investments. Builds cutting edge strategic plans for clients to meet/exceed objectives with the support of insights and data from team members.

Constantly monitor the Latam market and competitive intelligence within the sports and entertainment landscape.

Management of weekly client status.

Lead the development of strategic projects (both brand & rights holder clients) from inception to delivery.

Serve as a trusted advisor to key client stakeholders, delivering compelling insight-based points of view, presentations and strategic recommendations.

Maintains a good working relationship with key stakeholders to ensure all parties receive appropriate attention, support, and ensures Wasserman is in lock-step with the client’s plans as it relates to the growth and changes.

Oversees and directs team members in client service, general relationship development, project coordination and internal agency resource coordination within global accounts of Wasserman.

Multitasks and prioritizes own work, while also coordinating with others to meet deadlines and project milestones.

Strategically plans workflows based upon deliverables. Understands the nuances of how certain tasks affect others, and prioritizes those items in order to keep projects moving along.

Create a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment that aligns with Wasserman company culture and values.

Ensure consistent positive working relationships between departments and other Wasserman team members.

Contributes business development efforts for new revenue opportunities with existing clients and potential clients.

Contribute to RFP responses, new business pitches, and the development of forward thinking sales materials.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; 10+ years relevant experience with minimum 3 years of direct experience in account and project management. Master’s degree is a plus.

Specific experience working in sports and entertainment ecosystem with an emphasis on brand marketing strategy.

Strong background in sports marketing, brand strategy, sponsorship strategy & evaluation, or consumer insights in Latam.

Demonstrated ability to craft and present insight-driven strategies that inspire action.

Commercially minded and results-oriented, with a focus on impact and value creation.

Working knowledge of project management fundamentals.

High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel for deck development and budget management.

Possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Superior interpersonal skills and be able to create a rapport with people of all demographics.

Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.

Strong leadership capabilities to motivate team to accomplish goals and develop professional skills.

Motivated, goal oriented, persistent with a high level of initiative; works well independently and in a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and highly organized.

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
