Position Overview We are seeking a driven, motivated, and relationship-focused

Sales Representative

to join a growing wholesale apparel company based in New York City. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and expanding the company’s wholesale footprint across regional and national markets.

The ideal candidate has a strong sales mindset, a passion for apparel, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with buyers and accounts. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced fashion environment while playing a key role in revenue growth and brand expansion.

Key Responsibilities Wholesale Sales & Business Development

Identify, develop, and grow wholesale accounts across key markets

Manage a portfolio of existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities

Build strong, long-term relationships with buyers, retailers, and distribution partners

Account Management & Customer Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale customers

Present product assortments, pricing, and seasonal collections to buyers

Communicate order details, timelines, and product availability clearly and accurately

Sales Strategy & Execution

Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals

Track sales performance and identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts

Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives with production and inventory plans

Market & Trend Awareness

Stay informed on apparel trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs

Provide feedback to merchandising and design teams on market demand and opportunities

Support seasonal launches, trade shows, and sales meetings as needed

Reporting & Administration

Maintain accurate records of accounts, orders, and sales activity

Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates

Ensure timely follow-up on leads, reorders, and customer requests

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with design, production, logistics, and operations teams

Coordinate order fulfillment and address issues related to shipping or inventory

Support internal planning and sales meetings

Qualifications & Requirements Required Qualifications

Proven sales experience, preferably in wholesale apparel or fashion

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling to retailers or distributors

Knowledge of apparel production cycles and wholesale processes

Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, markets, or trade shows
