Duties and Responsibilities

E‑Lead Program Recruitment and Selection: Lead student recruitment cycles for various entry points into E‑Lead in collaboration with university partners to ensure multi‑disciplinary cohorts apply and are selected; coordinate the student application, selection, and onboarding process; develop strategies and materials to attract highly qualified applicants and increase program visibility among current and prospective students. E‑Lead Program Concentration Advising and Student Records: Direct student advising, concentration enrollment, and course registration processes for the E‑Lead Program; oversee student advising; responsible for scheduling of all E‑Lead courses in accordance with all appropriate processes. Teaching, Coaching and Mentoring: Develop and teach curriculum and coursework in the E‑Lead Program; evaluate student learning and grade student assignments; provide direct mentorship and coaching to students, supporting leadership growth, academic progress, and professional preparation; develop resources that promote holistic student development and engagement; support faculty in the OCOE and across the university by delivering guest lectures on leadership, teamwork, and innovation in relevant courses. Program and Event Management: Support planning and execution of signature E‑Lead events; manage the budget for area of responsibility and forecast needs to ensure success of the program. FIELD Center – Corporate Programs and Events: Regularly support FIELD Center initiatives, including corporate and professional offerings, through the development and delivery of curriculum for leadership and innovation programs for professional audiences and corporate partners. Program Assessment, Evaluation and Improvement: Lead assessment efforts to continuously improve program offerings based on assessment outcomes and emerging trends in innovation and leadership development through qualitative and quantitative evaluation of student learning outcomes, program satisfaction, and alumni success; analyze program data and share findings internally and externally, contributing to publications, presentations, and thought leadership in engineering and innovation education; partner with the FIELD Center team to integrate knowledge and insights from external partnerships into E‑Lead curriculum. Supervision: Responsible for the supervision of student employees and graduate assistants, which includes but is not limited to hiring, training, disciplinary actions, ending the student’s assignment, etc. FIELD Center Leadership: Collaborate with the leader of the FIELD Center on strategic planning, program expansion, and alignment with OCOE and university priorities; donor engagement and stewardship, program storytelling and communications; contribute to scholarship and leadership development and innovation education; represent E‑Lead at relevant university, regional, and national events; maintain and develop relationships with advisory boards, faculty committees, and institutional stakeholders to enhance program quality and impact. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Higher Education, Student Personnel, Leadership Development, or a related area. Minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience designing and delivering curriculum and facilitating learning. Strong mentoring, advising, and interpersonal skills. Expertise in leadership development, experiential learning, instructional design, and corporate engagement. Strong relationship‑building and networking skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Collaborative, creative and strategic thinker. Skilled in program assessment, data‑informed decision‑making, and continuous improvement. Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to both prioritize and oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to build partnerships across academia, industry, and the community. Requires the ability to work evening/weekend activities and travel may be required. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Certification in leadership assessment tools. Experience creating and delivering corporate or professional leadership programs. Familiarity with university curriculum systems and interdisciplinary programs. Experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, or applied leadership programs. Department
