GDS TechOps Associate Director

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join and lead our growing TechOps business unit. As a service delivery manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of services across incident, problem, service request, change, and service level management. You will play a critical role in leading and managing the delivery of the team ensuring successful execution and delivery of all engagements, driving growth opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.

At least 15 years working experience, at least 8 years of experience as Techno Function leader

As a Solution Architect, you'll assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the ERP advisory market. These are shared with all EY market facing organizations to provide consistency and common platforms with which to go to market.

Expertise in one of the SAP modules – ABAP, FICO, SD, MM, SCM, etc

Experience in Solutioning and Designing

2 -3 years of experience in system implementation / rollout

Deep understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes and methodology and how it interacts with the application lifecycle management principles

Proven track record of successfully managing large scale applications in a complex, multi-platform environment

Extensive experience in service delivery management and client management as well as project management working with various regions in a global setting

Depth of experience in setting up, growing, transforming, and delivering application management teams

Strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization

Strong client management, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and make data driven decisions

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the entire Application Management team fostering culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement

Enable growth and development of accounts being handled

Have been engaged in at least 2-3 global clients in onshore-offshore model

Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities contributing to revenue growth and market expansion within GDS and across EY

Work with pursuit and EY member firms to create solutions with compelling value propositions for clients around Application Management

Develop business case, business KPIs and Benefits Realization plan and measure KPIs

Have a good understanding of SAP landscape, functions and infrastructure which is valuable in understanding the service delivery landscape and effectively communicate with technical teams

Stay ahead of new technologies, industry best practices and market trends to hone the skills and capabilities of the competency

Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies

Understand current IT environment and industry IT Trends to identify the engagement and client service issues

Should have a mindset of continuous improvement. They should proactively identify areas for improvement, implement process enhancements, and drive efficiency in service delivery.

Client Engagement

Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges

Foster strong client relationships ensuring client satisfaction and delivery success through management and leadership of large scale engagements and projects with ability to run client status meetings, escalation management discussions and deliver executive level presentations that drive actions and decisions

Knowledge of budgeting, cost management and financial planning to ensure that the delivery stays within the budget and aligns with the financial goals
