Oversee, evaluate, and benchmark competitive benefits, compensation, and rewards programs that enhance the organization’s ability to attract, retain, and engage employees while driving organizational outcomes Maintain compliance for qualifying life events that trigger COBRA requirements using the module’s automated task and notification workflows Manage COBRA administration, including required communications, tracking critical deadlines, premium collection and remittance, and system updates related to regulatory changes Oversee ACA data management, including automated IRS filing of Forms 1094/1095-B and 1095-C Review system-generated tracking for FMLA, ACA, and OSHA Forms 300, 300A, and 301 Co-build ESOP functionality within the HRIS module, as requested Manage the enrollment, renewal, and ongoing administration of benefit programs, including medical, pharmacy, vision, dental, disability, life insurance, employee assistance, retirement, and related offerings Plan and execute the implementation and administration of all benefit plans, including annual open enrollment activities Maximize the impact of comprehensive wellness programs on health plan performance, productivity, organizational effectiveness, and employee-owner quality of life Conduct analytical studies across multiple compensation areas, including internal and external equity, competitive pay practices, and emerging market trends, to support engagement and retention strategies Support the annual compensation review cycle through analysis, preparation, validation, and delivery of merit letters; validate salary increases; and reconcile incentive and merit files for Payroll processing Assist in the development and delivery of Total Rewards Statements Maintain advanced knowledge of ACA, COBRA, EEO, ERISA, HIPAA, FLSA, FMLA, and GINA regulations; ensure company practices align with applicable compliance requirements; possess working knowledge of ESOPs Review, investigate, and analyze workers’ compensation claims; communicate work restrictions to management, third-party administrators, and relevant stakeholders; coordinate reasonable accommodations; and facilitate successful return-to-work outcomes Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to assess cross-functional impacts and reconcile shared data Manage HRIS scope related to Benefits Administration (BEN), benefit-to-carrier feeds, ACA and government compliance, and Total Rewards Statements Co-develop and own the Benefits Administration and Government Compliance modules, including plan configuration, deduction setup, and ensuring real-time carrier updates Leverage the BEN module to provide Employee Owners with: 24/7 access to benefit plan information, summary plan documents, carrier contacts, benefit election guides (BEGs), rate tables, and cost details Self-service enrollment for annual open enrollment and qualifying life events Tools to model how benefit deductions impact take-home pay Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of benefit elections and payroll deductions during the annual enrollment period Other duties as assigned. Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Workers Compensation Professional (CWCP) preferred. Ability to manage key compensation and benefit program. Must have held the designation as total rewards. Knowledge of variable pay, payroll processes and incentive programs.
