About the Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to provide effective and efficient People advice and support to the leaders within the NSW region across multiple business units. This may include:
Coaching and mentoring leaders in relation to workforce planning, performance reviews and development plans, employee engagement, employee reward & recognition, change management, talent and succession planning and other activities as per the People Functional Plan.
Providing specialist IR advice and support to leaders with respect to Agreement negotiations, legal compliance, contract and policy/procedure interpretation, union relationship management, disputes and legal cases, and undertaking workplace investigations as required.
Partnering with leaders to build a high-performance culture through managing poor performance, training & development activities and the effective enactment of People policies and procedures.
Participating as required in People projects and development of initiatives, participating and contributing at People meetings and development and planning sessions.
Modelling a commitment to Zero Harm and Holcim HAN's safety and environment policies, principles and procedures.
Complying with all relevant safety, health and environmental legislation.
The working location will be our modern offices in Bella Vista.
The requirement for this role will be four office-based days, with one designated work from home day per week.
There may be intrastate travel across NSW required in this role to support client groups.
You will be well supported by an experienced manager and team with operational support by an accomplished People Central team.
About You Our requirements for this role include prior experience working in a unionised/ industrial work environment across geographically dispersed blue and white-collar workforces. You will be able to demonstrate that you bring proven advisory and influencing skills, coaching skills, and are a People/Employment law subject matter expert with prior change management experience. Exposure to a global/large organisation would equip you best for this role.
In this instance, we are seeking an individual with tertiary qualifications, in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations, or related field.
