Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Director (RSD) will grow our Corporate Services Daily Foodservice portfolio in the greater Silicon Valley Market. This individual contributor role requires hunter‑style sales skills and a strategic background. The position is based in or near Silicon Valley.

Key Responsibilities

Use the Compass Sales Process: prospecting, qualifying, proposal development, presentations, and closing deals.
Drive new business revenue aggressively while maintaining strong profitability.
Develop winning sales proposals.
Build long‑term relationships and excel in a long‑cycle selling process.
Identify necessary support resources to successfully close new business.
Manage multiple priorities with strong time‑management skills.
Consistently exceed sales quotas.
Maintain a high‑energy, positive attitude with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Communicate effectively across the organization, partnering with operating colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum three years in new business development; food services experience preferred.
Consistently exceeding sales quotas and targets.
Experience developing sales proposals and responding to RFPs.
Strong computer skills and CRM database management.
Represent the organization at industry and non‑industry events.
Excellent communication skills and logical thinking.
High energy, strong executive presence, and ambition for advancement.
Experience selling at various organizational levels.
Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and occasionally outside.
Team player who contributes to a top‑caliber sales organization.
BA or equivalent experience.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Director (RSD) will be responsible for growing our Corporate Services Daily Foodservice portfolio of business in the greater Silicon Valley Market. The RSD is responsible for driving sales activities from start to finish to ensure continued success. This is an individual contributor role that requires a true “hunter” mentality and a strategic background. The position will be based in or near Silicon Valley.

Key Responsibilities

Strong sales and sales-related function skills including commitment to Compass Sales Process: prospecting, qualifying, proposal development, presentations to closing the deal.
Drive new business revenue aggressively while ensuring strong profitability.
Developing winning sales proposals.
Excellent rapport and relationship building over the long‑term selling cycle.
Identify necessary support resources to successfully close new business.
Ability to multi‑task and establish priorities; strong time‑management skills.
Consistently exceed sales quotas.
High energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills.
Communicate effectively across the organization both horizontally and vertically. Partner with operating colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of three years’ experience in new business development; food services experience preferred.
A track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and targets over time.
Developing winning sales proposals and responding to RFP’s.
Strong computer skills and ability to work with CRM database management system.
Ability to represent the organization at a variety of industry and non‑industry events.
Excellent communication skills.
Think logically with a common sense approach.
High energy level, strong executive presence and the ability to progress further in the organization.
Experience in selling at various levels within the organization.
Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory and occasionally outside of territory.
Team Player who wants to be part of and contribute to the success of a top‑caliber sales organization.
