We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Escrow Assistant to join our dynamic team. Assist with the preparation and review of escrow documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and other relevant standards Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and loan processors to gather necessary documentation for loan origination and underwriting processes Manage escrow accounts by tracking deposits, disbursements, and payments related to mortgage transactions Verify compliance with Fair Housing regulations, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and other federal or state mortgage laws during transaction processing Support mortgage servicing activities by maintaining accurate records of loan contracts, credit analysis reports, and escrow balances Perform basic math calculations for escrow account reconciliations, loan processing steps, and contract reviews using 10-key typing skills Communicate effectively with clients, title companies, lenders, and internal teams to facilitate smooth escrow closings Experience

Experience with RBJ Software is strongly preferred Prior experience in mortgage servicing, loan origination, or escrow processing is highly preferred Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and TILA regulations is advantageous Strong understanding of financial services including banking operations, credit analysis, and loan processing workflows Demonstrated ability to perform basic math accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience working with contracts related to real estate or mortgage transactions is a plus Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations ensures compliance during all phases of the escrow process Proficiency in using office software tools along with 10-key typing skills for data entry and record keeping
