The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of dairy production systems, enjoy direct interaction with producers and nutritionists, and excel at building lasting professional relationships.
Dairy Nutrition Sales Consultant Responsibilities:
Establish and nurture strong relationships with dairy producers, nutritionists, and distributors.
Market and sell feed additives, forage additives, and feed ingredients customized to meet each herd's unique needs.
Provide on-farm consultations and product recommendations that focus on performance, efficiency, and return on investment.
Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer support.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the assigned territory.
Implement sales plans, territory strategies, and growth initiatives effectively.
Stay informed about dairy nutrition trends, research, and competitive products.
Dairy Nutrition Sales Consultant Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, or a related field.
3+ years of sales or technical experience in dairy nutrition.
Strong knowledge of dairy herd management, nutrition, and forage systems.
Demonstrated ability to build trust-based, long-term relationships with dairy producers.
Willingness to travel regularly across various locations.
