As a Solutions Architect, you will take ownership of technology and design for sales support engagements across the country.
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead presales opportunities for complex projects. You will oversee all project stages, from gathering requirements to generating proposals, ensuring customer expectations are met throughout. You will be tasked with defining technical solution directions, implementing quality solutions, and providing essential engineering services to customers, including testing and system presentations. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing and analyzing radio coverage
Generating equipment lists
Creating system design descriptions and diagrams
Assessing and understanding customer requirements
Calculating power and networking requirements
Participating in proposal reviews and contract negotiations
Offering consultative guidance to customers and sales teams
Delivering presentations to various audiences
Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure all business unit goals are addressed
Developing implementation strategies and service plans for project success
Exceeding customer requirements and proposing value alternatives when necessary
Managing sales, revenue, and margin targets
Driving sole-source and RFP projects to completion while overseeing project schedules
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Wireless, Computer, Network Engineering, or Computer Science with 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, or 10+ years of equivalent experience
Solid understanding of wireless communication fundamentals and architectures (e.g., APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G)
Familiarity with IP networking architecture, protocols, and security
Experience with RF coverage predictions and capacity modeling tools is a plus
A proactive and resourceful mindset with a strong problem-solving attitude
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex topics to diverse audiences
A track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders
A willingness to innovate and challenge conventional approaches
Detail-oriented with a focus on flawless execution
Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic only)
Compensation:
Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
