The Sales Engineering Group serves as the technical backbone of our Sales Organization. Our engineers transform innovative communication solutions into reality, especially during critical moments. As a Solutions Architect, you will take the helm of technology and design in support of sales engagements nationwide.
Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Solutions Architect to spearhead presales endeavors for intricate projects. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to proposal generation, ensuring that customer expectations are consistently met. Your role will involve defining technical solutions, implementing high-quality systems, and delivering essential engineering services to our clients. Key responsibilities include:
Designing and analyzing radio coverage
Generating equipment lists
Creating detailed system design descriptions and diagrams
Assessing and understanding customer requirements thoroughly
Calculating power and networking requirements accurately
Participating in proposal reviews and contract negotiations
Providing consultative guidance to customers and sales teams
Delivering impactful presentations to diverse audiences
Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align all business unit goals
Developing implementation strategies and service plans that ensure project success
Exceeding customer requirements while offering valuable alternatives when necessary
Managing sales, revenue, and margin targets effectively
Driving sole-source and RFP projects to completion while overseeing project timelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Wireless, Computer or Network Engineering, or Computer Science, with at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience, or 10 years of equivalent experience
Solid understanding of wireless communication fundamentals and architectures such as APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G
Familiarity with IP networking architecture, protocols, and security measures
Experience with RF coverage predictions and capacity modeling tools is a plus
A proactive and resourceful mindset, equipped with strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex topics in an accessible manner
A proven track record of nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders
A willingness to innovate and challenge traditional approaches
Detail-oriented with a commitment to flawless execution
Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic only)
Compensation:
Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
