
Profiling and Packaging Technician

Description
Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to maximize yield and ensure smooth operation of profiling and packaging lines.
Set up, start, stop, operate, and control the profiling line, including adjusting machine settings for different products.
Adjust and replace profiling tools as needed.
Profile interlocking systems on both longitudinal and crosscut sides using the profiling machine.
Act appropriately in the event of a malfunction in the production process.
Lead, motivate, and coordinate the profiling team to meet production targets on time and with the required quality.
Train operators to independently operate the line under normal production conditions.
Carry out quality checks on materials and finished products, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Follow up on general and preventative maintenance needs.
Communicate with suppliers regarding tool replacements or refurbishments.
Check and plan the availability of materials (foil, boxes, pallets, raw materials, etc.) required for production.
Register production and quality data accurately in the ERP system.
Use a forklift to safely transport products within the facility.
Ensure the safe and correct operation of all machinery.
Comply with safety regulations and lead by example in executing safety policy procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient manufacturing.
Respect and apply 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Requirements
Technical diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
Proven experience in a production environment, preferably with profiling and packaging machinery.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with ERP systems and forklift operation (license preferred).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
