Compensation Hourly: $26.70 - $40.85 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job The main purpose of this job is to the Business Analyst on the Commercial Payments team is to proactively manage cross department pipelines, communications, updates, and process improvements.

Please note this position is hybrid and requires 3 days per week in office in Kansas City, MO. Must be in Kansas City, MO area.

Essential Functions

Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings, across business lines within the department, as well as with individuals across the Bank, to support projects and enhancements by evaluating processes, analyzing data and to provide requirements

Create appropriate documentation for stakeholders, end users, and scope of responsibility

Assist in defining high level repeatable processes and templates across the teams

Prepare documentation and conduct training to assist with end-user adoption of process and system changes

Drive identification of requirements across business units through thorough processes evaluation and train end-users on process and/or system changes

Help business leaders identify desired outcomes and help develop a prioritized roadmap while gaining alignment across different business units

Monitor and escalate risks and issues, as appropriate

Manage annual plan documentation for team business objectives

Work with director to execute the various events and communications to team members, including town halls (some weekly, monthly, or quarterly)

Create presentations for director and other senior leaders (includes developing story outline and creating presentation documents)

Review data and compare reports, trends, variance analysis to identify discrepancies and patterns

Adhere to project deadlines and commitments while exceeding customer expectations of professionalism

Independently develop and execute small projects and assist to develop and execute medium size projects

Perform other duties as assigned

Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional resource groups and support business needs

Proven ability to lead and collaborate with project teams to successfully deliver desired results

Actively seeks to develop awareness of objectives and how they relate to broader organization goals

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work on multiple assignments with minimal disruption

Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills who has the ability to confidently communicate with various levels of Business Partner leadership whether in person or virtually

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and OneNote

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

1+ years related experience preferred

Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per week

Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $26.70 to $40.85 per hour.
