COMPANY DESCRIPTION CMO Alpha

is a fractional marketing firm dedicated exclusively to the

financial services industry , with a primary focus on helping financial advisors nationwide. We provide strategic marketing leadership equivalent to a Chief Marketing Officer, without the commitment of a full-time hire, and often function as an outsourced marketing department for the firms we serve.

Our clients range from solo RIAs to large advisory teams who are in growth mode and need clarity, prioritization, and leadership to scale their marketing effectively.

We help firms cut through marketing noise and focus on what actually drives growth.

CMO Alpha is small by design, strategy-led, and hands-on. This role will work directly with the founder and gain exposure to real client work across multiple marketing channels.

This is a remote contractor role starting at approximately

20 hours per week , with the potential to grow to

30–40 hours per week

over time. While the role is remote, we’re based in the Kansas City area and would enjoy the occasional in-person coffee or strategy sessions when possible.

This role is ideal for a

junior marketer or early-career professional

who wants broad exposure across marketing channels and enjoys learning by doing. You’ll support execution while working closely with an experienced fractional CMO who will provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship.

Maintaining dashboards and basic performance reporting
