Overview Role summary, responsibilities, and qualifications for a Product Designer at Gyde. Gyde is building the first AI-native insurance brokerage platform to automate operations, power intelligent voice and chat experiences, and predict the right coverage and products for individuals or businesses. We acquire traditional brokerages and transform them into data-driven organizations to run more efficiently, serve clients more personally, and scale faster.

Role Summary We’re seeking a rockstar Product Designer who will work closely with leadership to shape the user experience, design system, and overall look and feel of our platform. You’ll be responsible for architecting broker and consumer workflows, which result in stunning designs that solve complex problems. You’ll collaborate with Engineering and Value Creation to transform AI capabilities into real-world business impact, identifying high-value use cases, scaling AI agents into production, and ensuring our solutions drive measurable outcomes for brokers, consumers, and the business. Together, you’ll tackle the challenges of deploying AI applications at scale in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

Solve for the customer: design for brokers and their clients with diverse needs and product challenges.

Innovate: explore new AI tools and use cases for partners in the insurance broker space.

End-to-End Ownership: drive the design process from ideation to execution in partnership with leadership.

Collaborate Across Teams: work with Engineering and Value Creation to develop a design system and ensure product consistency.

Gather Feedback: conduct broker usability testing to validate ideas, identify friction points, and guide iteration.

Build Design Systems: develop and maintain a scalable design system for consistency across products and platforms.

What You Bring And Who You Are

6+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a track record of leading design projects from ideation to launch.

Proven capability in full-stack design and delivering high-quality designs.

Experience end-to-end from shaping product direction to defining interactions and pixel-perfect craft.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and business leaders.

Experience gathering customer feedback, usability testing, and translating findings into design improvements.

Strong communication skills to articulate design rationale and product vision.

Mastery of Figma; proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator.

Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, insurance, finance) is a plus but not required.

Passion for AI-driven products and curiosity to explore new technologies and workflows.
