Architectural Drafter We are seeking an Architectural Drafter to support a Project Manager in the preparation of high-quality construction documents in an efficient and profitable manner. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential drafter looking to grow into a Job Captain role, as well as for established Job Captains seeking a new opportunity. Key Responsibilities Produce construction documents using Revit and SketchUp based on designs developed by others Translate limited verbal and written direction from the Job Captain or Project Manager into accurate, complete drawings Generate architectural plans and related artwork in accordance with project standards Ensure compliance with applicable drafting and documentation guidelines Proofread own work and, at times, review the work of others for accuracy and quality Communicate with builders to address construction-related questions and clarifications Required Qualifications Associate’s degree in Drafting/Design preferred Minimum 2+ years of experience in single-family residential architectural design Proficiency in Revit (required) Proficiency in SketchUp (preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset Experience Level & Compensation The role is ideal for an experienced drafter ready to be trained into a Job Captain position Experienced Job Captains will also be considered Salary range: $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications This position offers a collaborative environment with clear growth potential and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality residential projects.
