Portfolio Requirement Candidates MUST provide a strong portfolio of recent professional work (link or attachment) to be considered for this role!

General Responsibilities

Design and prototype high-performing webpages, e-commerce, customer portal management and mobile app interfaces from concept through final delivery

Create wireframes, user flows, interaction designs and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design intent

Collaborate closely with UX, front-end and back-end developers as well as Marketing and Product stakeholders, to bring ideas to life

Develop and refine front-end UI components for mobile applications ensuring intuitive, accessible and performant experiences

Apply responsive and adaptive design principles for seamless use across desktop, tablet and mobile devices

Ensure all designs align with brand standards, accessibility guidelines and usability best practices

Organize, maintain and document Figma files, design systems, components and high-resolution assets

Support and maintain design systems, style guides and reusable UI components

Partner with developers to ensure design-to-build accuracy, including handoff via Figma Dev Mode

Incorporate SEO, performance and usability considerations into web design decisions

Participate in design reviews, critiques and iteration cycles based on feedback and data

Report to and attend weekly meetings with the Creative Manager and DevOps Manager

Attend optional in-person team meetings in Palmerton, PA, when available

Other duties as needed

Qualifications

Established residency in Pennsylvania

A strong portfolio showcasing web, mobile and responsive design work, including UX process- please provide as attachment or links

Experience using Slack, Basecamp, Dropbox, Evernote a plus

High proficiency using Figma (including Dev Mode)

High proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Proficiency using Microsoft Office

Proficiency using Adobe Acrobat

Knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals: information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, typography and color theory

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles

Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design best practices

Knowledge of Design handoff and documentation best practices

Knowledge of usability testing tools, analytics awareness, A/B testing concepts preferred

Working familiarity of Drupal, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Familiarity using mobile application frameworks (e.g., Flutter with Dart)

Understanding of SEO, usability and performance considerations for web experiences

Possess a passion for empathetic, user-centered design and creating meaningful digital experiences

Possess a strong foundation in UX problem-solving, from research and ideation to execution

Possess a curiosity and commitment to continuous learning in UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies

Strong Organizational and Time-Management Skills
