Job Title: Oracle HCM Functional Consultant Location: Onsite – New York, NY (5 days/week) Type: W2 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant to support and enhance Oracle Cloud HCM applications in a fully onsite role in New York, NY. The consultant will play a key role in post–go-live support, functional configuration, user engagement, and quarterly patch management, working closely with HR and Payroll business users. Key Responsibilities Serve as a functional Oracle HCM consultant supporting Core HR, Absence Management, Learning, OTL, and Redwood UI. This role is primarily focused on Absence, Core HR, OTL, Redwood, and techno-functional HCM skills. Payroll experience is helpful but not required. Work directly with business users to conduct discovery sessions, understand day-to-day operational challenges, and gather functional requirements. Lead and support post–go-live activities, including troubleshooting issues, system stabilization, and continuous improvements. Guide users through Oracle quarterly HCM updates, assessing functional impact, reviewing new features, and supporting adoption. Plan and execute retrofit testing for quarterly patches, ensuring existing configurations and customizations continue to function as expected. Lead and support SIT and UAT cycles, including test planning, execution, defect triage, and resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve inbound HDL load issues, including data validation, error analysis, and reprocessing. Configure and maintain functional setups across supported HCM modules, adjusting configurations based on evolving business needs. Configure and maintain Absence Plans, accruals, eligibility profiles, and balances. Design, develop, and maintain Fast Formulas to support absence, validations, and business rules. Support day-to-day user issues, providing functional guidance and system expertise. Collaborate with technical teams as needed to resolve integration and data-related issues. Required Skills & Experience Strong functional experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, specifically Core HR, Absence Management, OTL, Learning, and Redwood UI. Proven experience supporting post–go-live Oracle HCM environments. Hands-on experience with HDL data loads and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of Oracle HCM quarterly updates and retrofit testing. Experience leading UAT and SIT with business users. Hands-on experience configuring Absence Plans and Fast Formulas. Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with HR and Payroll users. Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in New York, NY.
