$140,000 to $200k comp, depending on experience Overview A well established commercial concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support preconstruction and bidding efforts for structural and site concrete scopes across Southern California. This role plays a critical part in pricing work accurately, managing risk, and supporting successful project execution from pursuit through turnover. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for commercial concrete projects from conceptual through hard bid Perform quantity takeoffs for structural and site concrete scopes Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents for accuracy and completeness Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and self perform scopes Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost savings strategies Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and preconstruction teams Support bid reviews, scope clarifications, and contract handoff meetings Project Types Structural concrete for commercial buildings Tilt up and cast in place construction Foundations, slabs on grade, podium decks, and site concrete Projects delivered for established general contractors throughout Southern California Qualifications 5 plus years of experience estimating commercial concrete projects Strong understanding of structural and site concrete systems Experience xsgimln with both negotiated and hard bid work Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools Ability to read and interpret construction documents Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Compensation and Benefits Base salary range of $120,000 to $170,000 Performance based bonus potential Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k with company contribution Paid time off and paid holidays Long term opportunity with a stable and growing concrete contractor
