Outbound Associate

As an Outbound Associate, also known as a Personal Shopper, you will be responsible for selecting and packaging grocery items and goods, scanning items to complete orders, and ensuring the protection and quality of customer products. No prior experience is required for this role. Responsibilities Pick and pack grocery items and goods with precision. Scan items for order completion. Ensure the protection and quality of customer goods. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the department. Adhere to safe food practices specific to the department. Audit products for quality assurance. Maintain high safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the warehouse. Support team efforts by assisting colleagues when necessary. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching for extended periods. Handle products using single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling techniques. Essential Skills Counting and scanning proficiency. Experience in shipping and receiving. Inventory management skills. Proficiency with scanning equipment. Ability to work in cold environments for up to 8 hours at temperatures as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with fresh produce. Experience in receiving, stocking, or inventory management. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a state-of-the-art facility with exposure to temperatures ranging from -10 degrees Fahrenheit in freezing areas to 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit in refrigerated sections. The role involves physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. You will be required to wear oil and slip-resistant shoes and handle FDA-approved cleaning chemicals. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
