Temporary Director of Residence Life and Housing/Deputy Title IX Coordinator is responsible for educational leadership and overall operation of residence halls. The Temporary Director is also expected to oversee day‑to‑day operation of the Student Conduct process and serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Full‑time position with optional live‑in housing arrangement and meal plan. Designated as Essential Personnel and Campus Security Authority. Responsibilities

Directly responsible to hire, train, supervise two Residence Hall Directors and one Administrative Assistant. Design, create, and execute learning outcomes for residential programming curriculum and staff training/development. Oversee budget lines and forecasting related to Residence Life and. Coordinate communication for department through print, website, social media, and other electronic formats. Coordinate openings and closings; oversee room furniture and key inventories; address and refer out maintenance concerns; create and manage emergency protocol response; participate in on‑call duty rotation; handle other tasks relative to residence hall management. Be main liaison for StarRez housing management system; work directly with StarRez and Technology Services to maintain system; manage and oversee all aspects of room inventory system; oversee fee assessment process for all student housing charges, prepayments, fines, and refunds to Bursars Office. Serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinator reporting to Title IX Coordinator and also serving as College student conduct officer; lead day‑to‑day operation of Student Conduct process. Serve as Vice Chair on Behavioral Intervention Team. Perform related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications – Educational Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in a related field with at least five years of closely related experience. OR Masters degree in Higher Education Administration, College Student Personnel, or related field with at least three years of higher education experience or closely related field experience, preferably in housing or student conduct. Other Required Qualifications

Must possess a current valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review. Must successfully pass a credit check. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities – Knowledge

Knowledge of best practices in residence life and housing. Knowledge of student conduct best practices. Knowledge of student development theory and practices. Knowledge of personnel management principles. Knowledge of budget management principles. Knowledge of student life programming principles. Knowledge of computers and job‑related software programs. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities – Skills

Skill in delegation of responsibility and authority. Skill in collaborating with multiple constituents. Skill in operation of computers and job‑related software programs.
