
The Water Transfer Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new customers, maintaining existing relationships, and expanding the company's market presence in the water transfer sector. This role requires a strong understanding of water logistics in oil & gas or industrial operations, excellent client relationship management, and a proven ability to close sales.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the water transfer industry.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, including oil & gas operators, midstream companies, and other industrial partners.
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to design custom water transfer solutions based on client needs.
Negotiate contracts and pricing within company guidelines.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the development of annual sales strategies.
Attend trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to represent the company and promote services.
Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams for timely and successful service delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales within the oilfield services, water logistics, or industrial fluid handling industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of water transfer operations, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to client sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Existing network within the oil & gas industry in [specify region, e.g., Permian Basin, East Texas, etc.].
Experience managing key accounts and large-scale service contracts
