Rotation Engineering & Manufacturing Company, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, United States

Save Job

Overview

If you’re the person who catches the “small” order details that prevent big shop-floor problems, we want to talk to you. This is a manufacturing sales support role—not a call-center position and not a general admin job. You’ll work with B2B customers and coordinate closely with Sales and Production to ensure orders are accurate, scheduled correctly, and communicated clearly. If you have manufacturing office experience (job shop preferred) and take pride in high-accuracy work, apply and tell us what manufacturing environment you’ve supported. Quick Snapshot

Customer-facing B2B order entry + order coordination (office-based in a manufacturing environment) High attention to detail: pricing, part numbers, quantities, due dates, and customer requirements ERP + customer portals (JobBOSS experience is a plus) Job shop / custom metal fabrication experience is ideal On-site role (not remote) What You’ll Do

Enter customer orders (email, portals, scheduled releases) into the ERP with very high accuracy Verify pricing, quantities, part numbers, due dates, and customer-specific requirements Acknowledge and schedule orders; coordinate scheduling with Production to meet customer requirements Navigate customer portals for acknowledgments, releases, documentation, and status updates Perform job release tasks to initiate work orders and ensure required documentation is present in travelers/job packets Support Sales with pricing history, prior job details, shipment status, delivery timing, and supporting documentation Draft professional customer emails with appropriate tone and formatting Maintain customer part histories, quoting documentation, and job records; support dashboards/boards as needed Required Qualifications

Experience in a B2B manufacturing environment is required (job shop strongly preferred) 3+ years in customer service, sales support, or manufacturing office role Very high accuracy in data entry and documentation Comfort using ERP systems and learning customer portals (JobBOSS a plus) Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints (dimensions, materials, tolerances) Professional writing and customer communication skills Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365: Outlook, Excel, Word) Please Note (Screen-Out)

To respect everyone’s time, this role is not a fit if: You do not have manufacturing (B2B) experience Your background is primarily medical/clean-room assembly with no job-shop exposure You are looking for a call-center, retail customer service, or general clerical role You prefer minimal documentation or are uncomfortable working with production schedules and ERP data Work Environment

Full-time, on-site role in a manufacturing office environment Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed Extended computer work; ability to sit or stand for a full shift Occasional lifting up to 35 lbs How We Work

We value integrity, a customer-driven mindset, a positive attitude, and a team-first approach.
