We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of retail and commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all on-site construction activities for retail and commercial projects
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Monitor quality control, safety protocols, and compliance with regulations
Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
Track project progress, prepare reports, and communicate with project stakeholders
Identify and resolve project issues or delays proactively
Conduct site inspections and ensure proper material and equipment availability
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on retail or commercial projects
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
Proficiency with project management software and tools preferred
