Job Description The Order Desk Associate plays a critical role in supporting sales operations by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely order processing and customer activation. This position partners closely with sales teams, internal stakeholders, and customers to prepare accounts for activation and resolve order-related issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
Manage customer activation and process orders accurately and efficiently.
Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Prepare customers for activation through investigation, action items, and clear summaries.
Maintain and manage a database of incoming orders with precise data entry.
Validate orders for compliance with contracted terms and requirements.
Update CRM accounts and support data cleanup initiatives.
Resolve customer questions and order-related issues promptly.
Identify opportunities to improve order processes and contribute to SOP enhancements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in sales support or a related customer-facing role.
Experience with order placement for direct customers.
Proficiency in CRM systems, including Salesforce.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through on tasks and projects.
Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and complex information.
Strong relationship-building skills with cross-functional partners.
