Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Conroe, TX, for the role of Residential Appraiser. The Residential Appraiser will be responsible for appraising residential properties within the district, conducting site inspections, evaluating property values, and assisting in the preparation of the annual appraisal roll. The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards and responding to inquiries from property owners and other stakeholders. Collaboration with team members and participation in continuing education related to appraisal standards will be required.
Qualifications
Proficient in Real Estate Appraisal and knowledgeable in Appraising residential properties
Experience with Residential Real Estate and understanding of property valuation principles
Proficiency in Appraisal practices and techniques, including property measurements and condition assessment
Strong skills in Valuation and analyzing market trends for accurate property assessments
Excellent oral and written communication skills for liaising with property owners and stakeholders
Ability to work effectively on-site and as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
Relevant certifications in real estate appraisal and knowledge of Texas property tax laws and regulations are a plus
