
Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Leasing Specialist to join a dynamic team in California. This role involves ensuring compliance with HUD guidelines and supporting residents through the recertification process. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer service to contribute to the success of the property management team.
Key Responsibilities
Complete annual and interim recertifications for HUD programs.
Review, update, and maintain resident files in compliance with HUD guidelines.
Conduct income and asset verifications; coordinate third‑party documentation.
Assist with file audits and ensure accuracy of all required documentation.
Communicate with residents regarding recertification requirements.
Support the site team with light phone coverage as needed.
Ensure timely completion of recertification tasks to support property compliance.
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of recertification or affordable housing experience.
HUD experience required.
Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of compliance documentation and verification processes.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in affordable housing or property.
Familiarity with HUD forms, resident communications, and recert cycles.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive resident information.
Required Work Hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Additional Details Pay Range:
$25.00 per hour
