
LaSalle Network has partnered with a growing fintech company in downtown Chicago in their search for an Account Executive.
We are looking to hire a driven, detail-oriented
Sales Representative / Account Executive
to help grow the client base and support revenue expansion.
This role is ideal for someone who already has a foundation in sales and is ready to sharpen their skills in a consultative, relationship‑driven environment!
You’ll work closely with leadership, product, and operations to educate prospective clients, manage a thoughtful sales process, and build long‑term partnerships.
Strong follow‑up, organization, and business acumen are critical to success in this role.
What You’ll Do
Manage the full sales cycle for inbound and outbound leads, from first conversation through close
Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs, pain points, and business goals
Clearly explain a complex product in a simple, compelling way
Maintain consistent, thoughtful follow‑up with prospects to move deals forward
Track all activity, pipeline, and next steps accurately in CRM
Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and strong client experience
Build and nurture long‑term relationships with prospects and clients
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and client use cases
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
Strong follow‑up skills with the ability to manage multiple deals at once
Solid business acumen and comfort discussing financial or operational concepts
Excellent communication skills — confident, clear, and professional
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Self‑motivated and proactive, with a desire to learn and grow
Experience in SaaS, fintech, financial services, or B2B sales is a plus
Total compensation includes base pay of $60,000 + commission, with the opportunity to exceed this amount through strong performance. You will also be eligible for a full suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and more!
