Patient Account Representative (Remote)
LaSalle Network has partnered with a US based Revenue Cycle Management Firm seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Patient Account Representative to support their revenue cycle operations. In this remote role, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, resolving billing issues, and providing excellent customer service to patients regarding their balances and insurance inquiries. Key Responsibilities Review, manage, and follow up on patient accounts and outstanding balances Communicate with patients via phone, email, and/or portal to resolve billing questions Explain insurance benefits, patient responsibility, and payment options clearly and professionally Post payments, process adjustments, and update account notes accurately Work insurance denials, underpayments, and eligibility issues as needed Collaborate with internal billing, coding, and insurance teams to resolve account discrepancies Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies at all times Qualifications 1+ year of experience in healthcare billing, patient accounts, or revenue cycle preferred Strong understanding of insurance benefits, EOBs, and patient responsibility Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Proficiency with billing systems and basic computer applications Preferred Experience Experience with hospital or physician billing Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Prior remote work experience What We Offer Competitive hourly pay up to $18-22/hour Fully remote work environment Consistent full-time schedule Supportive team and training provided Opportunity for growth within the organization If you are interested in this role, Please apply today!
