Duties and Responsibilities About the role: As the product sales specialist you will autonomously work on, and grow, our Thales' Identity, Data and Application security business. This role will be mainly focused on engaging and recruiting new partners as well as developing the channel through existing and new reseller partnerships.
Help create end user opportunities with and through channel partners
Work to and achieve individual targets
Be a trusted contact and advisor for Thales within Exclusive Networks, developing relationships at all levels of the vendor organisation.
Provide training and enablement for the Exclusive Networks' sales teams ensuring any accreditations are maintained
Manage partner accounts alongside the Account Managers where required
Work closely with the internal and external sales teams to set and co-ordinate partner meetings
Drive the quarterly business plan working alongside the Account Manager and Vendor Channel Team
Help create end user opportunities with and through the channel partners
Work with the partner to on-board the vendor through training and enablement across all relevant departments
Provide ongoing training to educate the partner on new releases and competitive messaging
Support vendor focused activities, such as end user events and focus days
Liaising with internal departments (e.g., Operations, sales, technical consultants) in order to fulfil customer needs
Proactively work with Exclusive Networks and Vendor marketing teams
Manage an assigned sales pipeline and produce monthly sales forecast reports and statistics for Exclusive Networks management
Qualifications and Experience The Ideal Product Sales Specialist
3+ years proven sales experience working within the IT channel, preferably Cyber Security
Have drive and enthusiasm to develop sales and grow the business unit
Proven ability to form, build and farm relationships, network effectively and intelligently
Experience working to KPI's that map to the business goals
Be highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to sales
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Knowledge of the IT channel and commercial challenges for distribution
Experienced presenting to senior level contacts
Strong analytical skills
