Location:
Germany (remote with travel) ConWX is looking for a
high‑impact Senior Sales Manager
to drive our commercial growth in the German renewable energy market. If you are deeply connected in the sector, thrive in a competitive technical B2B environment, and want to directly influence the trajectory of a specialized Data‑as‑a‑Service company, this role is for you.
The Role
As Senior Sales Manager, you will own the commercial development of the German market—one of our core geographies. You will engage deeply with trading desks, developers, operators, and utilities, building long‑term relationships and converting complex technical needs into ConWX solutions.
Your key responsibilities
Drive new business in Germany and expand existing accounts Manage a pipeline of 20+ simultaneous sales efforts Identify opportunities through RFPs/RFQs, benchmarking trials, and proactive outreach Lead client dialogues, from early needs analysis to signed recurrent‑revenue contracts Represent ConWX at customer sites and industry events Build strong relationships with both forecast users and decision makers Collaborate with our Danish HQ and global Volaris network
What you bring
Mandatory profile (must‑have): 5–8+ years’ senior experience in B2B technical sales Deep knowledge of the German renewable energy sector Strong network
within wind/solar forecasting, trading, development, or operations Proven sales track record in complex B2B environments Native German speaker + Professional proficiency in business English (spoken and written) Germany‑based, with a willingness to travel frequently Technical understanding (mathematical/meteorological is a plus) Hunter mindset with persistence, structure, and independence Personal traits: Resilient, proactive, transparent Self‑driven and disciplined in documenting efforts Long‑term value creator (recurring revenue > quick wins) Curious about market developments and regulatory change
