Position Summary Safari Solutions is growing and looking for a driven Technology Sales Advisor to join the team. Work in a collaborative and energizing environment with the flexibility to work remotely when you're not out at networking events and visiting clients. The Technology Account Executive will demonstrate a focus on selling technology services and solutions to existing and new clients. The services and solutions are, but not limited to, network management, cybersecurity, cloud, and computer support services. The ideal applicant will provide a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and relationship building skills.

Requirements

General understanding of IT basics (e.g., networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing)

Ability to assess client needs and articulate value propositions for managed services solutions

Demonstrated ability to prospect, generate new leads, and networking

Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiations

Develop, track, and close sales leads through prospecting, leveraging your network, and gaining strategic partnerships

Identify client requirements including technical, infrastructure, configuration, and other requirements.

Collaborate with technical staff to generate proposals

Confidently present proposals to clients to engage interest in managed services

Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop informational seminars, marketing material, targeted campaigns, and qualified leads

Effectively qualify opportunities to determine scope of work

Leverage networking events, chambers, and groups to promote the brand and build long-lasting relationships

Proactive and independent self-starter with a "can do" attitude with minimal day-to-day guidance

15% travel - local and domestic

Knowledge, Education, Skills And Abilities

1-5 + years in B2B sales, preferably in technology or managed technology services

Prior experience selling MSP services, or IT consulting

Strong understanding of sales cycles - lead generation, prospecting, demos, negotiations, and closing deals

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities

The ability to engage with technical and non-technical team members

Develop and nurture long-term client relationships

Naturally curious and eager to take on new challenges

Ability to manage multiple client requests and to meet deadlines

Ability to work in dynamic environment
