The E-commerce Account Specialist plays a critical role in driving the growth of our e-commerce sales. This individual will lead the daily management and strategic development of assigned internet retailers, actively working to strengthen partnerships and maximize sales opportunities. Through innovative engagement and a focus on performance, this position is key to expanding the company's presence and revenue in the e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities

Serves as the primary day-to-day point of contact with assigned accounts to build strong, lasting relationships.

Expected to be the expert of their accounts, including managing assortment, pricing, promotions, and product listings.

Works closely with E-commerce Content Specialist to set-up and maintain product assortment.

Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, merchandising and operations, to address areas of concern as it relates to product listings or product performance.

Identifies promotional opportunities with care to the company’s initiatives, inventory levels, margin expectations and growth objectives.

Monitors account(s) promotional calendar, retail pricing and discounts.

Performs post promotional analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of promotion and improve future strategies.

Compiles and analyzes sales metrics to evaluate overall account(s) performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Identifies new and emerging opportunities, trends, and insights.

Manages and organizes multiple projects and tasks across assigned accounts and internal departments.

Continually looks for ways to improve efficiency, shares best practices and suggests process improvements both internal and external.

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in an online or e-commerce merchandising environment

Experience in working with retailer’s portals

Proven success with account management and fostering fruitful relationships

Strong PC skills, utilizing Microsoft Office analytical tools

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Willingness and ability to take on additional tasks and projects as assigned

Self-starter, good energy, positive attitude, honest, and a team player mentality

Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a sense of urgency
