About the Job Our San Francisco studio is seeking a
Designer with 5–7 years
of experience to join our design‑driven team.
We’re looking for a sharp, passionate Architect who thrives in collaborative environments, brings strong problem‑solving skills, and takes pride in producing clear client presentations and accurate construction documents. You’ll play a key role in shaping buildings starting from the feasibility and concept phases, and ensuring design intent is carried through documentation and construction.
You’ll partner closely with Senior Project Architects and design teams on multiple, concurrent projects across all phases. You’ll coordinate directly with consultants, lead meetings, and continue to develop the skills to deliver thoughtful, well‑executed, and inspirational buildings that enhance the urban environment.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated Architect looking to grow professionally, contribute to meaningful projects, and take ownership in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
5‑7 years of professional architectural experience across all project phases, from feasibility and entitlement through construction
Professional degree in Architecture
Licensed Architect required; California licensure strongly preferred
Experience with medium- to large‑scale multifamily residential projects preferred
Strong knowledge of zoning, planning, and building codes
Familiarity with LEED and GreenPoint Rated certification systems a plus
Proficiency in Revit required
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience with 3D modeling and rendering tools, including Rhino, SketchUp, V‑Ray, and Grasshopper; familiarity with AI‑enhanced design workflows a plus
Demonstrated experience coordinating consultant teams and leading project meetings
Proficiency in producing comprehensive construction document sets
Experience with Construction Administration and jobsite observations
Highly organized, technically proficient, and detail‑oriented
Ability to lead a design from concept through execution
Collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience mentoring and guiding junior staff
