Find out more about our mission at .***About the Job***We are looking for an expert relationship-builder and detail-oriented strategist to join our team as the Health Care Professional (HCP) Advocacy Manager. This individual will lead the discovery, activation, and ongoing engagement of licensed medical and wellness professionals who partner with our brand to educate and empower health-focused audiences.This is a highly collaborative and strategic role ideal for someone who understands both the nuances of health care communication and the power of digital influence. You’ll work closely with legal, regulatory, and brand teams to ensure that influencer content is credible, compliant, and impactful.***Main Responsibilities:**** Source and evaluate HCP influencers including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, registered dietitians, and other licensed professionals active on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.* Develop campaign briefs and scientific messaging guides tailored for HCP audiences and communication standards.* Oversee the full lifecycle of influencer engagement: outreach, vetting, contracting, onboarding, and campaign management.* Ensure all influencer content adheres to industry regulations including FDA/FTC guidance, HIPAA, and brand-specific MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) protocols.* Provide influencers with education and tools needed to accurately and responsibly represent product claims, usage instructions, and health data.* Partner with legal and medical affairs to review influencer content and streamline the approval process.* Collaborate with HCP influencers to co-develop trustworthy, patient-friendly health education and product awareness content.* Align HCP influencer campaigns with brand strategy, disease awareness moments, and public health initiatives.* Liaise with internal creative teams to coordinate multimedia deliverables (videos, reels, infographics, etc.).* Track influencer campaign performance in collaboration with the Data Analytics Manager using KPIs such as reach, engagement, professional credibility metrics, and audience sentiment.* Foster long-term relationships with HCP partners, offering them value-added engagement and opportunities for thought leadership.* Manage documentation, reporting, and insights to inform future HCP engagement strategies.***About You:**** Bachelor’s degree* 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, healthcare marketing, or communications strategy with licensed professionals.* Proven track record managing social or digital campaigns involving medical professionals.* Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in healthcare marketing (e.g., FDA, FTC, HIPAA).* Familiarity with scientific and clinical content and ability to translate it into accessible messaging.* Strong relationship management and communication skills.* Experience navigating MLR review cycles and working with cross-functional partners including legal, medical, and compliance.* Background in consumer health, wellness, OTC/pharmaceuticals, or digital health brands preferred.* Experience with platforms like CreatorIQ, Upfluence, or Medfluence-specific tools preferred.* Understanding of current public health trends, trust-building in science communication, and the evolving digital landscape for medical professionals preferred.At Opella, you will enjoy doing challenging, purposeful work, empowered to develop consumer brands with passion and creativity.
