Wisconsin Northern & Central (WiNC) GME Consortium
The Wisconsin Northern and Central (WiNC) GME Consortium is a non-profit, mission-driven, regionally governed collaboration serving as the ACGME Sponsoring Institution for rural primary care residency programs across northern Wisconsin. We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Director to lead our organization into its next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide vision, leadership, and operational oversight for the WiNC GME Consortium
Supervise staff and ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention
Develop and manage the annual budget, grants, and funding opportunities
Support and collaborate with the Board of Directors, DIO, and GMEC
Ensure legal, regulatory, and ACGME compliance
Lead strategic planning, innovation, and technology initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, medical schools, and community partners
Position Requirements
MD, PhD, or master’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Five or more years of experience in graduate medical education or healthcare leadership preferred
Demonstrated leadership, financial management, and strategic planning skills
Strong communication, negotiation, and collaborative abilities
Attend weekly in person meetings in Wausau, WI
Position Details FTE: Full-time (part-time considered for a highly qualified candidate) Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 (full-time), based on experience
