This position is responsible for developing relationships with our Select Guest members and acting as a point of contact for them, ensuring the proper handling of all group rooms in the hotel. Responsibilities

To liaise with Front Office for details of groups, VIPs, Select Guest, promotions and packages. Communicate directly with guests, both in person and by telephone. Conduct guest room inspections prior to Select Guest arrivals. Schedule pre-arrival calls accordingly and spot-check proper execution. Create relationships with current and prospective Select Guest members and follow through with any complaints; act as the point of contact and communicate needs to the Operations team. Create unique and personalized WOW moments at every opportunity. Lead training for new associates on the Select Guest programs as appropriate for each job function. Ensure entry of, manage, adjust and correct all assigned room blocks; be the primary contact for groups on all VIPs, add/cancels, and block adjustments. Daily review, research and process guaranteed no-shows to verify billing and reinstatements. Notify DORM/CSM when room types are oversold and return booking notice to Sales Manager for corrections. Carry out all reasonable requests from management. Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer proficiency and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knowledge of local community and surrounding areas. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Must be able to operate OpenTable, Go.Concierge, SpaSoft, Opera PMS, Delphi software programs.
